San Francisco Estuary and Watershed Archive is a companion service to the peer-reviewed electronic journal, San Francisco Estuary and Watershed Science. The Journal focuses on contemporary scientific findings in the science of estuaries and watersheds, with a particular emphasis on the San Francisco Estuary and the watersheds that drain into it. The Archive is intended to provide electronic access to legacy documents, including: historical accounts and surveys; project, planning and strategic reports; and non-peer-reviewed environmental information resources. An initial focus of the Archive is to digitize, index, and post historically important collections of papers and books that are now out of print.

San Francisco Estuary and Watershed Archive is a project of the California Bay-Delta Authority Science Program. Technological support is provided by the Berkeley Electronic Press and Envirospectives, Inc..

The contents of the Archive may be freely copied and distributed for research, educational, management, governmental, or other public, non-profit purposes.
